I am 32 and currently live in Johannesburg. I absolutely love and am so grateful for a life made up of my family and my friends, who I like to spend as much time with as I can. I’m the great great granddaughter of Trader Horn, Aloysius Smith, a figure of fantasy and a well-known African trader, so adventures are in my blood, give me any opportunity to explore and experience something new!
I qualified from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with majors in Psychology and Organisational Psychology and with a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management. I’ve since worked in various exciting industries and have had the opportunity to fly helicopters, work on film sets, and enjoy lunches at some of Cape Town’s most exclusive wine estates.
My experience in branding, media, marketing and sales has been nurtured whilst working for a South African publishing company on a national magazine. My digital education has largely been self-taught – with the help of peers (see the THANKYOU’s) and the creative commons, I love that everything that you need to know is freely shared, and with a little discretion, commitment and determination, available to anyone. My intention is to, in the near future, develop content and publish my contribution to enable others.
There’s more, but that’s what Facebook is for!
