Interestingly enough, I wonder how this real time ad campaign has affected sales. 

In the end, no matter how real time you are, sales effect may take weeks or months to really be seen and even then, it could be due to so many other factors. 

I saw something about zero effect on sales for Old Spice so far, but I doubt the effect of sales is in real time. I mean, really, we all have to first run out of our current products before we go get a new one, and with so many women who buy these kinds of products for their boyfriends/husbands/sons, the effect could be diminished. 

Revamping an unsexy brand must be the hardest thing in the world. 

Not quite as easy as selling fried chicken to the masses.
